Brady

It was spring time when, in an unexpected coincidence or fate's unequivocal incidence, I met my protector. He stretched his now and forever over my time schedule and surrounded every single one of my muscle fibers in his path with an eternal footprint.
I was pacha (earth), moving on a repetitive orb, trying to avoid black holes from eradicating my subsistence and unknowingly spinning around his existence.
He appeared bright, a warm sun, impossible not to revolve around that instant when he held my hand and  obliterated our distance. His thoughts abandoned his lips and flew in my direction. I would like to say that over our heads I saw the most affluent constellation, but I was too busy attempting to discover the infinite layers of his essence in our conversation. At first, I tried to resist his affection but soon he rested easy on my morning thoughts and afternoon desires. His vivid reflection appeared on the mirrors of my mind's elation, dreams of a desired sensation.
He was free and taught my thoughts to fly away from stress to candid sunsets over the sea. He transported me to that fine line where sun and earth meet.
I met his body on the winter, but his soul met mine in the spring. Sun and the earth meet to give birth to life, love blooms to give meaning to breath.
Now that initial surprise has passed, but my heart remains aghast, his love is vast and every day it multiplies.
He still looks at me with his aquatic irises, core and jewels of my vision. He still makes my heart skip a beat and interrupts the rhythmic routine of my breath by stealing it for a second, but now he infiltrates two words that change everything. He enunciates "te amo" through lips that my future appropriates and in a language that my past recognizes.  In that second of blissful elation, I recognize those words as the panacea for pain.
I feel the present, I feel alive, I am abducted from a world of trivial sentences that seem to run erratically with no interesting meaning, direction, goal, or even a punch line, to a parallel universe where words find their identity in feeling.
He loves me and I finally feel like I truly belong somewhere; my body and his arms fit like two pieces of a puzzle that don't fit in with the rest of the puzzle, but fit so perfectly with each other that they have lost interest in being part of he bigger picture.
Perfect microcosm, we are fragments that complete each other and the rest is unnecessary embellishment.
My blood rushes somewhere in between the "te" and the "amo" that emanate from his lips like water falling from a cascade.
Beautiful, the way he makes me feel when he runs his fingertips through my hair and looks at me like there is no other woman he would rather paint a path to eternity with.
In this second, in which I can feel his soul's roots growing in my veins, I love the way he makes happiness blossom from a dirty swamp of nothingness; my sweet lotus love.

Essentia

Sentía comos tus raíces arrastraban mis frutos a tu centro,

Amor and Psyche

Have you seen her?
She moves easy, like leaves on a windy day
She swims through eternity, energy of sunrays.
She looks at you with the desired glimpse
Of a mystical creature, pretenatural nymph;
But she is no myth you see,
She is you, she is me.
She takes your hands and gives you a box,
A cubic cocoon that will help you metamorphose.
You hear her voice, beautifully intoned:
She says her name is Psyche,
But has wings like Nike.
She says you must not see with your eyes.
You find the key in the back of your mind
Long forgotten, the subconscious unwinds
The secret you already knew,
But hadn’t dared to open Pandora’s box
Until you met her, not someone new
What? Not a scent, not a feeling,
Who? Not the question, not the meaning.
At the end of the labyrinth she awaits
And you finally dare to unveil
The secret: emancipation, which reveals the trail.
You venture free of privation,
Towards your winged salvation.
But at the end of the maze
You can’t find her arcane gaze.
All you see is a mirror:
You know you have reached cenit,
Nirvana, love, the top of the pulpit.
And your queer reflection is the affeerer.
You look in the mirror as you transcend perception
It’s not your body, but your essence that you see:
It is still trapped inside a body, a mundane creation,
But now you feel free
And so you see
That there is no she,
No you, no me.
There is only us.
Collective, united, undivided: us.

The Neural Sport

My brain has two poles that play ping pong with my emotions. Electric beats flow down from colorful tunnels in my brain, pass through my veins, through my intestines, and float on my internal streams of liquid life. This brain of mine is winged by ideas, it explodes sometimes, it gets saturated with sensation. It flies out of my body and invents a psychedelic paradise where it gets to eat music every day, where it gets to swim in songs, where money is made out of lyrics, and language is written in music notes.

Love Galaxy

Let me be the new sensation, penetration to your senses, the drive of your life, the life of your feelings, the feelings of your heart: beating hard. One, two, and three…. Infinitely beating, if there’s no such a thing as the infinite, let’s invent it with a rising rhythm.
Let me be your galaxy, your ecstasy, your most crazy fantasy. Vibrations coming from your brain waves, sending messages to your body, making you dance, making you get lost in a trance.
Let me swim in your mouth, taste your kiss, feel the bliss, shine like your saliva in the sun as you pronounce my name: music.
Let me be your freedom, your smile, your wings, your drug, your hot cocoa in the snow.
Come on you spectator, emancipate me, take my hand, mold my hips with your lips, travel through my skin, boil my blood with your voice as it says: I feel you.
Sandy Cay Caribbean beach Wallpaper
Yesterday morning
As I sat on the rocks next to the vast ocean
Of running waves, singing and humming,
I contemplated the fine line
Where the firmament (divine)
and the halcyon blue water intertwine.

I introduced myself,
No response was needed;
I already knew her name:
Mother Earth, Nature, or Life itself.

I thought of Mother Earth,
Her body: a sphere.
I thought of her love,
Eternal: a sphere.

Maternal Mother Earth,
Infinite are your blessings
For the human:
-For the woman-
Addressing
to myself your sweet caressing.

I thought of Nature
And her gifts:
Two legs to run free and venture,
Two windows and the world as their feast,
A heart stronger than any of my limbs,
And a brain that moves with poetry instead of fists.

I thanked life,
Who has impregnated mine with
Beauty: a naked soul.
A free soul, incandescent as the sun,
Who feeds of passion, insatiable.

Life seeks for a life,
Whose soul will echo her own,
Whose love will erode her tears,
Whose arms will hug away her fears.

Dear Life, you have doomed me
With sweet romanticisms
And human skepticisms.
My soul is pray of female fragility,
This thirst for love irrupts my tranquility.

I am jealous of the ocean
Who touches heaven
With her salty lips.

I envy the ocean
Because it is not human
But gives life as a woman.

I envy the ocean
Because she can cry,
but feels no pain.

So I took off my clothes
And submerged my body
Into that illuminated entity of peace.

The agony was gone.

The day I turned unto a bean

My ears missed your breathing at night
As you used to sleep while I turned off the light.
My heart hurt, my skin was cold,
The idea of ripping them off was growing old.
But I couldn’t, ‘cause they were yours.

Two seconds later I felt the same.
Seconds felt like years,
Time is elastic when you’re not near,
The brain is a beast hard to tame.

I’ve seen fool moons,
But haven’t felt your kiss
on my mouth, where it used to bloom.
I have seen new moons and blue moons,
I would trade them all to see you.

I tried sleeping to find peace,
But I couldn’t touch you in my dreams.
I tried building a time machine,
But the only thing it did
Was turn me into a bean.

I visited a gypsy
Who gave me the cure
To this lack of you

Every morning I go to the little box
I have in the memory of every one of my senses
To smell your essence like a fox,
To feel your presence,
To touch your skin,
And look at the color of your eyes, green.
Life’s better now, I even think
I kinda like being a bean :D

Mea culpa?
La noche nunca me acusó.
Eres tú quien comió de la seducción

Y culpó a mi carne.

Me gustaría tenerlo a él.

Regina

There's an abyss
Where time used to be,
I cherish this perpetual bliss:
The static image of you and me.

I travel with my palms and senses
as a sensorial vehicle, feet are overrated.
I feel, I see, I smell, I taste your presence.
As waves of blood elevate.

I silence my lips
I feel the earth shake.
I listen to your skin as it sings:
my name.

Once I heard it echoing at the distance:
my name.
Today your tactile voice is instant,
Screaming: my name.

Surrender your shields, use your wings.

My fingers are sore and tired
Of all the hours I have spent scratching old
Questions that have no answer but still instigate a fire.
No price for essence, existentialism just can't be sold.

I pronounce those twenty years of mine
Like a compilation of memories
Instead of a period of time,
Life that doesn't come from time
but from the sweet roots of the vine.

I remember many wars of me vs. me.
I recall sketching myself over and over again,
With a gray pencil that only shadowed pain.
New places, new eyes, new patterns of tainted veins.

But it was always the same
Finding a parter was a continuous mistake.
A phrase that would always hunt my way:
"They all go away"

I wore it as a crown of thorns impregnating my mind
As a martyr paying for someone else's crime.
Waiting, wishing for skin to be kind,
for a heart to be mine.

And then you came
A human body blossomed through my lips
Playing with my tongue: your name,
Eradicating all my weeps.

Sweet word that kissed my lips
And winged my eyes,
Tore my heart, and squeezed the juice of life
 Using not his fists
But a love untainted with lies.

Illuminate me with sentiment as wisdom,
With that incandescent spark of thee.
Paint a colorful window
And fly away with me... free.

Embrace me with pleasure,
Surround my soul with your flesh.
Spot the totality of tenure,
Knit serendipity, warm my body
With an oneiric mesh.
Be transparent, love is the cure.

The roots of love have no tongue

It's spring and a man branched out of my heart
Green, green, like hope, nature, and art
Organically, he enamered me with his elucubrations
One love, two nations.

It must have been his sweet amber eyes
or the morphemes of his lines.
This poet carried love as a message,
 A Prophet to my life.

He had a lonely hand
With poems and rhymes making a stand.
But no words were needed
When our fingertips kissed, new life was seeded.

His energy and mine easily flow,
From far away I could see his aura glow.
Thank you cosmos or any form of God
For this harmony to my life you have bestowed.

Scented souls attracted,
Surrealism and love enacted.
Flirting of IQs.
He writes me haikus :)

Parallel lives braided
By coincidentiality, destiny, or a wish habilitated.

A park in the walk.

Seth & I

Today I witnessed the sunset falling hard, in a beautiful and incandescent explosion of radiant warm colors, melting, and blending with the multiple shades of blue of the sky and the luminous tints of the deep blue on the corresponding sea.
Today we left this world on a quest for a fantasy to the eucalyptus forest after lecture. Below the low sun bathing the leafless tree tops we walked in a zig-zag motion. We wrote "practice: peace and love" on the ground below our feet. I did my freedom dance to illustrate a point about the single way of life. Pete (whose real name is Steven but I like calling him Pete because of that show "Pete and Pete") with his fiery hair and freckles on the face lost the game of "who can scream the loudest on the cliff" (Seth won of course, I am just a good protorype for a horror movie).
I asked my friend Seth to depict this day. The following lines are what he squeezed out of his juicy mind of intrincate morphemes in language and rhythmic ideas:
grains of Light
By Seth King

Storepiles of leaves-
We help to return them from where they came,
By throwing ourselves onto them
Their husks crackling
Admitting their loss of form.

Concrete human trails carve the hill,
Eclosing a galaxy of mounds and shrubs,
Drawing the line in the sand between manhills
And anthills.

The sun multiplies
I find it behind this tree
Behind that leaf
Peeking around a worn sign
I feel it on all sides the moment I turn my back.

The bare winter trees stand tall and proud
The grass prefers basking down below-
"Lizards make better company than birds."

The city, our house for wayward humans,
Lost on their way to the forest.

After a long talk about relationships Seth and I made a promise, a compromise, a new year's resolution if you will... and that is "not to commit to anyone who we don't respect intellectually".

Oh my oh my, if only I could be a panda without a backpack.

My feet have been moving all day long, from class to class, from stranger to stranger. My language has changed, I speak in English now, my tongue likes it somehow and it's happy, just like when I taste an exotic dish. My shadow is different too, it has a hump in its back due to the obscene and excessive amount of books that I have to carry around. I'm beginning to wonder if my brain is gonna get heavier when all that information is inside my head.
I like my Asian Art teacher, you can hardly understand his English and he smiles a lot, he reminds me of that blue Furby of mine that used to make funny noises sitting next to all of the other useless crap  I tend to accumulate over time. I am really bad saying goodbye, even when it comes to inanimate objects. I like/dislike that literature teacher that I have this quarter and that I also had last quarter, all lecture long he was looking at me reluctantly, with that I hate/love you stare. I acknowledge that I am just a kid playing grown up. I was just pretending to read while I was singing happy birthday to my ex boyfriend on the phone, I only got muffins, sodas, and junk food from Ralphs, and my organized closet is probably gonna last a day or so. I am a mess. A mess with fake dark hair. A mess that has to read Plato, the wisdom of Buddha, the psychology text books, etc... that I still haven´t bought. I am an organized mess when I have time. I am a mess in a hurry when I don't have time. I am a fat mess when I am depressed, eat ice cream, and watch chick flicks. I am a missing mess when there´s no one looking. I must be a mess with a bad karma because I have a roommate with a little bit of an obsesive compulsive disorder. I am that mess sitting on the grass, smiling to the sun, all tangled up with the string of life and confused between the battle inside my head of what I am vs. what I want to become. What I really want to be is a panda, but people have told me that it is impossible for a mess to become a panda. My second option is to be a cascade of knowledge. I love that word... cascade. Vivian likes the word efervescent, she told me a while ago while Krista was saying that she would like to be able to know her past lives, like Phoebe in Friends. Vivian wants to put a yellow rose representing ever lasting love in the poster I proposed to do to visualize everything we want from life. It will be interesting to explain to people that these are our desires in life when they see a poster with a panda, a yellow rose, a cascade, and a random guy. That conversation ended at 12:30 and I went to my room, where I found my roommate pretending to read (aka. stalking people in myspace) with rollers in her hair.
Okay, I´m off to bed, to dream with my life as a panda, a fat dichromatic panda that eats green food (maybe monochromatic, since black is not considered a color, but the absence of color, which makes me think... if black isn't a color, why are black people called "colored"), rolls on the grass, and doesn't have to read Plato.

GRACIAS.
